Center for Environmental Protection Policy
works mainly in the environmental protection sector. Our activities are
concentrated on the following areas:
- Project management and implementation;
- Development of projects, feasibility
studies;
- Consultancy services in the main environmental
sectors;
- Drafting of legislation, strategies and
plans;
- Drafting of procurement documentation
(for EU funded projects);
- Environmental impact assessment;
- Strategic environmental impact assessment;
- Training, environmental education.
We are actively involved in the process of
EU integration, have a good understanding of the requirements of EU and
Lithuanian environmental legislation, and we have practical experience
in implementation of there requirements.
Projects management
and implementation
Center for Environmental Policy has extensive
experience in management of environmental projects. We have experience
in managing projects financed by State budget (Ministry of Environment,
Committee of European Affairs), EU funds (Phare, ISPA, structural funds),
bilateral donors (Danish Environmental Protection agency, Finnish Ministry
of Environment, Swedish international development agency, USA Environmental
Protection Agency, Government of Belgium, Government of Germany), other
international financing institutions (The World Bank, Nordic Council of
Ministers, UNDP, UNEP). We provide technical assistance to our clients
in English and Lithuanian.
Development of projects
and feasibility studies
AAPC staff together with partners have developed
feasibility studies for Kaunas and Klaipeda regional waste management
systems, Plunge waste water treatment, sewerage and potable water system
renovation and extension, Hazardous waste management system, performed
Financial analysis of Rehabilitation and Extension of Water Supply and
Sewage Collection Systems in Vilnius city. More information about the

Consultancy services
We provide consultancy services on a number
of environmental topics. Consultants of the Center for Environmental Policy
work efficiently and have flexible attitude toward the client's demands.
Training and environmental
education
Center for Environmental Policy organises
courses for managers and specialists of enterprises dealing with hazardous
waste management. The course programme is approved by the Lithuanian Ministry
of Environment.
